Surf Camp

Aquidneck Island’s favorite surf camp since 1996. All ages and skill levels welcome. Beginner-friendly, personalized instruction from patient, experienced coaches. Sponsored by O'Neill Wetsuits. Complimentary hat and sunglasses for every camper.

Surf School

For anyone craving extra waves, Elemental Surf School offers extended sessions for students who want more than the standard two-hour Surf Camp. It’s a great opportunity to deepen the day’s lessons, refine skills with extra practice, and simply enjoy more time in the ocean.

Surf Camp and Surf School begin on June 13th 2024 and are offered on weekdays through Labor Day.
Surf School is an extended 4 hour session (9:00 am - 1:30 pm, Daily) for students who want to combine our two surf camps. (Surf camps run from 9:00-11:00 & 11:30-1:30) Those enrolled in Surf School still participate in Surf Camp, but have an additional session to perfect their technique!
As long as you can swim, you can learn to surf! Our students are grouped with instructors based on age and their experience level. Younger, less experienced campers start in shallow water and smaller waves, and have a lower student to instructor ratio. More experienced campers can work their way into more challenging conditions with instruction geared towards high performance surfing.
We accept reservations up until the day of camp. Booking one to two weeks in advance is recommended for months of July and August or for groups of 4 or more.
We have a full range of wetsuits available at no cost, but can not guarantee availability due to unpredictable sizing demands. We are able to accommodate all of our students most days, but we recommend bringing your own wetsuit if possible.
